COURSE DETAILS:
This course is aimed at providing an added level of child protection awareness in respect of disabled children. Learning and research suggests that, where there are welfare or protection concerns, these children are not always assessed in the same way as mainstream children.
It targets those practitioners who work closely with children and their families and who contribute to assessments of need in a child, up to and including where there are child protection concerns.
This is one day course and is aimed at the specific and intensive workforces across multi-agency services and partnerships, including 3rd sector services working with children and families.
Main themes: -
