Do you own a micro or small based business or are you thinking of starting a new business?
·¬ÇÑÊÓƵapp Council is investing £1.5 million of funding across the region to further support local economic recovery from the impact of Covid and to help communities with the current cost of living crisis. The funding is available through the Scottish Government’s Local Authority Covid Economic Recovery Fund.
As part of this funding, two new grants are available to help businesses start up and develop.
Throughout the pandemic, the council’s Business Gateway team has provided support and advice to businesses. The team will help administer the following grants:
Small Businesses Development Grant 2022
Grants of 75% of costs up to £3,000 are available to help grow micro or small businesses.
More details including how to apply are available on the council website /small-business-development-grant. The closing date for applications is 31 January 2023 or sooner if funds are fully committed.
Business Start-Up Grant 2022
To help new businesses, grants of up to £3,000 are available, phased across three payments.
