Lorn Arc project extension

·¬ÇÑÊÓƵapp Council’s Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) Pilot Project for the Lorn Arc Area has been extended by 10 years, allowing additional time to implement key infrastructure and development investments that will help to create a significant economic boost to the wider Oban area.

Consultation on visitor levy agreed for January

Visitors, residents and businesses will have the chance to give their views on a visitor levy for ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵapp, following a decision today by Council to run a three month consultation exercise.

Mull Campus site decision expected in February 2025

With plans to build a new school campus on Mull progressing, the Council will meet in February 2025 to consider options and make a final decision on a preferred site. The cost of building the campus is ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵapp Council’s single biggest investment estimated at £43 million.
